Original Hirbawi Gaza Keffiyeh
Original Hirbawi Gaza Keffiyeh
Gaza is portrayed in the media as a place of violence, destruction, and poverty. For Palestinians, however, Gaza is a colourful city known for its nice beaches, spicy food, fishing boats, and the hospitality of its people. "Gazza Ard el-Izza" (the glorious city) is what we warmly call it in Arabic.
The colours of this keffiyeh depict the Palestinian feeling towards Gaza.
The traditional Palestinian scarf is known as Keffiyeh or Hatta. Local manufacturing of this symbol of the Palestinian struggle for freedom is sadly vanishing, with most keffiyehs sold around the world – and even in Palestine – being made in China or India. Today, only one factory remains in Palestine: The Hirbawi family in Hebron continues to weave the only original keffiyeh made in Palestine.
PSC offers you the unique opportunity to purchase an original keffiyeh delivered to your home, worldwide.
