Seeds of Hope - Book
Seeds of Hope brings together a group of 22 renowned international composers with the aim of raising funds for music charities working with children in Palestine and those caught up in conflict around the world - PalMusicUK and Musicians Without Borders. All profits from the books go to these charities.
The collection, illustrated by artist Tiril Valeur, includes 24 piano pieces, from elementary to early intermediate, with a mix of solos and duets. Included are creative activities and suggestions to develop musicianship and engage the imagination.
As well as original music, the book includes Palestinian folk songs, such as Yomma Mweel Al Hawa and Ween Ala Ramallah, that express resilience, resistance and the abiding connection to the homeland. The book focusses on the theme of nature and the strength we all draw from the natural world.
