This mug has been created by cartoonist Tim Sanders for a special exhibition celebrating Palestinians lives.
In Tim's words:
My aim on these visits was to portray the Palestinian people I met, trying to get on with their lives under the difficult circumstances of the Israeli Occupation. They go about what in a normal situation would be humdrum: shopping, going to work, going to and from school, visiting family etc.
Now Palestinian suffering and oppression has become immeasurably worse. A national tragedy engulfing millions.
I think seeing Palestinians as people like everyone else, trying to live their lives as most people try to do, is now even more important.’
