In 2016, acclaimed East End artist and cartoonist Tim Sanders visited Palestine. His trip was crowd funded by Tower Hamlets Palestine Solidarity Campaign.
He toured the West Bank with the Jenin Freedom Theatre’s Freedom Bus. Tim focused not just on the horrors of the occupation, but also on the joys and pleasures of life in Palestine.
Tim drew this in Bethlehem, inside the Aida Refugee Camp. You can see the watchtower with its Israeli snipers, and some litter, but also the beauty of the flowers which grow everywhere. Beside the wall is an open-air theatre where children play.
Each print is individually signed by the artist and printed on high quality art paper.
